Residential Services
Generator Installations
Let Spartan Electric provide you with a sense of security knowing that during a power outage you will not be without heat in the winter or AC in the summer. During construction we can pre-wire your home for an emergency generator to be installed after construction. If you prefer or have an existing home we can add an emergency generator. Depending on what lights or appliances you'd like to have active, we can provide a generator that can power just essential circuits in your home or one that can power the entire home.

Production Home Wiring
Spartan Electric does business with some of the area’s biggest builders. We do approximately 700 homes a year and work in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Washington DC.
- We are able to adhere to very fast paced schedules
- We do all types of wiring required to pass home inspections which are almost always passed the first time.
Custom Homes
At Spartan Electric we take pride in the quality of our work and the speed at which it's completed. We do many custom residential homes ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to multi-million dollar homes. We can provide custom lighting control systems, structured wiring, and home audio systems.
- Design lighting and electrical layouts
- Provide installation of lighting control systems like Lutron Home Works, and/or Radio-Ra
- Installation of light lifts for easy bulb changing and fixture cleaning
Dimming and Lighting Controls
As mentioned above we can provide whole home lighting controls for your existing home by retrofitting existing switches with Radio-Ra switches. This gives you the ability to control multiple lighting locations and set lighting scenes throughout your home at the touch of a button. If given the opportunity, we can install a lighting system during construction that will allow switches to be located out of sight to allow for a cleaner installation and use of multiple button wall switches.

Low Voltage
The low voltage service we provide entails anything from the design stages through turnkey installations of TV, phone, networking, home audio and home theater systems. We can provide just the wiring or complete installation of all related equipment.

Security Systems
We are licensed in Virginia to design, install, and monitor security systems. We are currently seeking our licensing in Maryland and other jurisdictions.

Brookfield Homes Custom Division – Keswick, McLean, VAA beautiful 12,000+ square foot home that has many electrical upgrades such as a whole home dimming system, structured wiring (including theater system and whole home audio systems), and a 600 Amp service.
Keswick Krause Residence
Brookfield Homes Custom Division – Keswick, McLean, VASimilar to the Marquette model, this home is also well over 10,000 square feet with a whole home dimming system, structured wiring for theatre and audio systems, 600 Amp service, and many other electrical upgrades.

Evergreene Companies, Northern VAEvergreene is a custom homebuilder that specializes in both new homes and special additions or remodels. Located in McLean, VA, Spartan does work for Evergreene on several projects.
Tonkel Residence
Mauck, Zantzinger & Associates, Georgetown, Washington, DCLocated in the heart of Georgetown this was a complete remodel with an all glass kitchen addition on the back of the residence. They had an existing 3 phase 200 amp electrical service which was upgraded to a 3 phase 400 amp service.
Lilley Residence
Mauck, Zantzinger & Associates, Georgetown, Washington, DCThis is a brand new custom home that overlooks the Potomac River in NW DC. We completely demo’d an existing house and built the new house on the existing lot.
Cooper Residence
Mauck, Zantzinger & Associates, Georgetown, Washington, DCRight down the street from the Lilley residence, this was a complete remodel on the inside and a 1 story addition on the back of the house. We also upgraded the electrical service from 100 amps to 200 amps.
Macklin Residence
Mauck, Zantzinger & Associates, Georgetown, Bethesda, MDLocated in Bethesda this was basically a brand new house. The only thing left from the original structure is the front wall. This also included an electrical service upgrade from 200 amps to 400 amps.
Joseph Residence
Mauck, Zantzinger & Associates, Georgetown, Arlington, VALocated in Arlington, VA, this was a 3 story addition on the back with a new kitchen, basement play room, and master bedroom and bathroom.

Pulte Homes (Centex), Crofton, MD10 buildings, 170 units, Senior Citizen Condo units. Job is ongoing, four buildings completed as of December 2010.
